On Monday it was announced that NBA basketball team Philadelphia 76ers purchased two esports teams, Team Dignitas and Apex Gaming, which will both merge under the Dignitas banner. The 76ers and their new staff of esports hires, including former Bioware CEO and Electronic Arts VP Greg Richardson, former Dignitas owner Michael ODEE ODell and former Apex general manager Michael Slan, will now run teams across multiple esports titles. These games will include League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch, Heroes of the Storm and Smite, mixing together squads from both Apex and Dignitas. We aim to be the most dominant, winning franchise across the [esports] space, 76ers CEO Scott ONeil told ESPN in an interview about his teams new venture. I think having the opportunity to put some real resources behind an unbelievable, rapidly growing property will be amazing.ONeil, who also serves as CEO for the NHLs New Jersey Devils and the Prudential Center, has lofty ambitions, which were clear throughout the course of the interview. Putting money behind Dignitas, one of esports oldest organizations, will likely elevate the organization that has fallen behind in certain esports -- mainly due to a lack of financial bidding power -- over the past few years. The 76ers and ONeil first began to court an opportunity in esports in 2015, when they first met ODEE, who has worked in the space as the head of Team Dignitas since 2003. ONeil said that ODEE gave them a personal view of an industry that had already piqued their interest. After assessing their options, both ONeil and the 76ers believed that acquiring Team Dignitas was the right move.In a space thats changing rapidly, to have a solid, strong, confident voice in ODEE was really comforting, ONeil said. He approached the partnership with a very long-term approach like we did, very focused on understanding that the landscape changing as rapidly as it is. He was looking for a partner capable of bringing real resources. He was looking for partner with whom he could build a dominant, championship-winning team. But despite ODEEs strong reputation among the business, hiring Slan and acquiring Apex comes with baggage.Slan is best known for his time as the manager of Team Coast, which he co-owned with his father, David Slan. During his time with Coast from 2013 until it was sold to NRG Esports in 2015, that organizations reputation plummeted, as it made ill-advised roster moves and had a knack for being involved numerous disputes, which were later published. In 2016, Slan and his father launched a new esports team, called Team Apex.Richardson said that working with the Slan and acquiring Apex from his father was ODEEs suggestion. ODEE had worked with the Slans in the past as a colleague during Team Dignitas time in the League Championship Series and recently gave his teams Challenger Series spot to Apex in April.Richardson, however, said his main motivation to work with Slan came after seeing his history of finding talent in League of Legends, where Coast has qualified for the League Championship Series with multiple different lineups.Michael Slan at Apex has a unique ability to find top talent, Richardson said. Working with ODEE in the Dignitas culture is going to make great things happen for him and our LCS team. For ONeil and Richardson, they both said they want to make Team Dignitas the most prestigious option for potential players in the esports world, something the organization has never been able to accomplish alone. We have to very clearly communicate that Dignitas is the best place in the world for players to play seriously, where they have the opportunity to build really amazing careers, be well compensated and have all the things they need to be the best, Richardson said.As ONeil added, We have experience in terms of creating an environment where athletes excel and develop. If you talk to any of our players at the New Jersey Devils or Philadelphia 76ers, youll find its an incredible experience for them, and we have no doubt we can build on that for players who commit to Team Dignitas. Tom Nissalke Jersey . -- Peyton Manning will have all of his wide receivers available for the first time in a month when the Denver Broncos begin their playoff run Jan. Cadillac Anderson Jersey . Louis Blues absence from top spot in the TSN. https://www.cheapspurs.com/1296j-lonnie-walker-jersey-spurs.html . The 25-year-old Japanese star has officially been posted by his club team, the Rakuten Golden Eagles. James Silas Jersey . This should be celebrated because it will not always be this way. With the amount of money given to players by their clubs these days, it is a wonder that so many of those teams allow the sport to continue to take away many of their assets so they can play for a different team in the middle of their season. John Beasley Jersey .5 million, one-year contract on Friday. Hawkins, who turns 41 in December, will compete with Rex Brothers for the closers role at spring training. There is plenty of star power to choose from on the mound Tuesday, as well as several intriguing mid-level guys who are tough to stack against, so youll likely want to piece your offense together from several different teams, unless you commit entirely to the Coors Field game and try to hit big on some low-dollar arms.PitchingEliteDanny Duffy and Justin Verlander are not only two of the best pitchers going Tuesday but they are also squaring against each other in Detroit. With Verlanders teammate, Michael Fulmer, qualifying for the ERA title on Sunday, Duffy sits second in the American League with a 2.82 mark, and that isnt just built on 16 relief appearances (3.00). He has a 2.79 ERA in his 17 starts.Corey Klubers 53 Game Score his latest time out snapped a streak of five straight at 60 or better, four of which were north of 70. Over his past nine starts, he has a 2.13 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 62 Ks in 63 1/3 IP. A bad outing in Toronto (hardly a sin) is the only blemish in that stretch. The White Sox are averaging just 3.6 runs per game since July 1. Kluber had a 7 1/3 IP/1 ER gem against them back in May, when they were actually scoring some runs.SolidI cant keep Noah Syndergaard in the elite tier right now. Hes still projected for a 59 Game Score, but he has reached or exceeded that level just twice in his past nine starts. He has a 4.20 ERA and 1.56 (!) WHIP during that run, with an average of 15.6 DraftKings points and 30.4 FanDuel points. Hes still getting strikeouts, with 57 in the 49 1/3 innings, but its not enough to make him worth the big spend, especially on a slate with 13 arms projected at 55-plus Game Scores.Jason Hammel?draws only a 54 projected Game Score, but hes pitching better than a lot of guys on Tuesdays slate lately. Since the Mets pummeled him for 10 earned runs in just four innings, he has allowed 6 ER in 36 innings (1.50 ERA) with 33 strikeouts and 10 walks. He hasnt allowed a single run in either of his August starts, including one against Milwaukee. Since joining the Cubs in 2014, Hammel has a 2.65 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 53 strikeouts in 54 1/3 IP against Milwaukee.Jose Quintana and Marco Estrada are both unquestionably having good seasons with sub-3.00 ERAs and quality WHIP to support it, but their path to success doesnt always yield comparable DFS success. The duo have topped 30 points at DraftKings a combined four times in 46 starts. Verlander and Kluber each have seven, and even Duffy has five in just 17 starts. Neither Quintana nor Estrada is a particularly big strikeout guy, but they sit at 74 and 75 percent, respectively, in quality start rate, which puts them both in the top 11.Kenta Maeda and Vincent Velasquez are intriguing options, but they are facing each other in Philly. We actually just saw them square off in L.A., with Maeda getting the better end, though neither was particularly useful in DFS. Velasquez was trounced for nine earned, so Maeda drew the win with a modest 5 IP/3 ER showing. Velasquez has the better strikeout rate this year (10.1 to 8.9), but over the past two months, they are nearly even: 9.5 for Maeda, 9.3 for Velasquez.Dallas Keuchel has shaved a run off of his ugly 5.54 ERA over the past nine starts, with the only hiccup coming at Detroit, when the Tigers got him for 7 ER in five innings. He followed that with a shutout of Texas, which gave him a 3.13 ERA in those nine starts. The Detroit outing was the only one in which he didnt throw at least six innings. He still isnt someone youre dying to use in your lineup, but hes back on the table as a passable option, especially with his price tanked from the horrific start to his season.Streamers Young AL East lefties Eduardo Rodriguez and Blake Snell are both gamble options who can put you in position to win big as quickly as they can end your night. They will be low-used arms, but their peaks have been impressive this year. Snell has spiked Game Scores north of 60 four times in his 11 starts, while Rodriguez has three in 12, including two this month.ddddddddddddI wont blame you if you havent been paying attention to Ervin Santana, especially because he had a 5.10 ERA after his first 12 starts. But over his past nine, hes toting a 2.05 ERA with two complete game efforts, including one against the same Braves he faces Tuesday. He has only 44 strikeouts over the 61 1/3 IP, but he has spiked eight twice and has four five-strikeout starts in the past nine.It looks like Jameson Taillon might be catching San Francisco at the perfect time. He gets to face them in their pitcher-friendly ballpark, while they are in a downturn, with a 16-20 record since July 1 and just 3.8 runs per game in that stretch. Taillon is coming off his second 8 IP/0 ER outing, this time against the Padres, and he has allowed just 3 ER in his past 20 IP. He lacks the strikeout upside to put up huge nights, as he has yet to break 30 DraftKings point, but he will still cost you $9,100 over there. I cant completely ignore him, but I think there are better uses of your budget on a full slate Tuesday. Plus, this Giants offense can still be dangerous.Anthony DeSclafani has allowed more than 3 ER just once this year (5 ER at San Francisco three weeks ago -- see? dangerous), but he didnt start his season until June 10, so it is just 12 starts so far. After fanning just two in each of his first starts, he notched five or more in nine of his past 10. In short, hes a solid SP2 option.AvoidGio Gonzalez will have a hard time staying hot with a trip to Coors. He has a 3.00 ERA in his past seven starts and has allowed more than three earned just once, but I wouldnt mess with the lefty in Colorado. The second you start trusting Michael Pineda is the second he drops five earned on your face.HittingColorado has gotten some decent pitching this year, but it hasnt been from Chad Bettis. He has an ERA north of 5.00 both home and away, so the Nationals will no doubt be licking their chops for the series opener. Maybe a trip to Coors is what Bryce Harper needs to get back on track? Daniel Murphy, Wilson Ramos?and Anthony Rendon will be heavily considered by most. Jayson Werth has a 42-game on-base streak going but just a .682 OPS against righties this year. The Reds draw the second highest overall rating on the day, as they get Jose Urena, but who are you dying to use besides?Joey Votto? Maybe Adam Duvall? Perhaps the sneaky pairing with Votto is Tucker Barnhart. He has a .740 OPS against right-handers this year, 86 points higher than against lefties.A battle between Andrew Triggs and Lucas Harrell is ripe for fantasy goodness, but there just arent many guys beyond Khris Davis whom Im interested in for Oakland, so Im focused on Texas here. Nomar Mazara has been a righty killer this year, so Ill definitely be looking at him along with other lefties, Mitch Moreland and Rougned Odor. Ian Desmond has done his best work against lefties, but his .772 OPS against righties with 14 HRs (out of 20 total) against righties keeps him viable against anyone. If you want to spend on pitching in lieu of the Coors hitting, the Seattle Mariners are a great target for offense. Jhoulys Chacin has been a nightmare with the Angels (6.00 ERA in 72 IP), and a lefty-heavy lineup such as Seattles is only going to exacerbate the situation. Robinson Cano, Kyle Seager, Adam Lind, Leonys Martin?and Seth Smith are all on the radar. I wouldnt rule out right-handed Nelson Cruz, who has an .848 OPS against right-handers this year, with 15 of his 29 homers. Most likely to go yard: Brian DozierHe had just five home runs through May but has clubbed 21 since June 1. He has hit 18 of his 26 homers against righties, too. Good luck, Joel De La Cruz. Most likely to swipe a bag: Travis JankowskiHe has already swiped 25 bases in just 235 plate appearances this season, and neither Bobby Wilson nor Luke Maile is good at stifling base runners for Tampa Bay.
